HigherEd 2.0 is an ambitious project of deploying web 2.0 technologies in higher education.  Funded by the National Science Foundation and housed at the University of Virginia , this project involves faculty content providers, assessment experts, IT partners and friends and colleagues in university adminsitration and outside of academics as well.  The project originated in engineering education, specifically sophomore mechanics, but has rapidly grown into productive partnerships in a wide range of educational settings. 

This website is the home to the project and includes news, updates, training materials, and the full range of useful web 2.0 links and resources.  As is often the case, this site is perpetually under construction.
